The Huntington Study Group

The Huntington Study Group (HSG) is a non-profit group of clinical investigators from medical centers in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia, experienced in the care of patients and families affected by Huntington disease and dedicated to clinical research of this hereditary disorder. The HSG focuses on the conception, conduct and communication of clinical research, including treatment trials and observational studies aimed at relieving the burden and slowing the progression of Huntington disease. Please see Clinical Trials in Progress for the current HSG trials.

HD Trials

There is hope on the horizon for people with Huntington’s Disease. There are many Clinical Studies underway, and a number of potential therapies may move into Clinical Trial phases in the very near future. Volunteers are needed for ongoing trials and many more will be needed for future trials.
HDTrials.org has been created to enable clinical trial participation, the HDTrials.org web site will provide quick notification to Huntington families of opportunities for participation in clinical trials and studies through a confidential email list.
